St Cuthbert’s Hospice has been honored to receive support from Kans and Kandy Group since 2011. What began as attendance at events and dinners has grown into a vital partnership. In 2023, when the energy crisis caused an unexpected surge in utility costs, our hospice faced a significant budget deficit. In response, we launched the ‘Power Up’ campaign. Kans and Kandy immediately stepped in with monthly donations-a lifeline that kept patients warm and the lights on.
Despite ongoing funding challenges in the hospice sector, Kans and Kandy’s continued support has allowed us to plan our income and deliver essential care across County Durham. Their team has also participated in events such as the Durham City Run, pushing themselves to raise funds for our cause. It is an absolute pleasure to work with Kans and Kandy, and we extend heartfelt thanks from the hospice and the families whose lives their generosity has touched.
